This report analyzed 21 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the International Education program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for international ed majors pursuing a master's degree.

Our analysis found Teachers College at Columbia University to be the most popular school for international education students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. Teachers College is a small private not-for-profit school located in the large city of New York.

About 84% of the students majoring in international ed at the school are women while 16% are male.

New York, NY

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend New York University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular International Education Master’s Degree Schools list. Located in the large city of New York, NYU is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population.

Women make up 92% of the international ed majors at the school.

Out of the 21 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, George Washington University landed the # 3 spot on the list. GWU is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Washington.

About 71% of the students majoring in international ed at the school are women while 29% are male.
