A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Berklee College of Music is a great place for music students working on their master’s degree. Berklee College of Music is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.

Of the 103 students majoring in music at Berklee College of Music, 49% are male and 51% are female.

Out of the 11 schools in Massachusetts that were part of this year’s ranking, Longy School of Music of Bard College landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the medium-sized city of Cambridge, Longy is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly small student population.

About 73% of the students majoring in music at the school are women while 27% are male.
