Out of the 34 schools in California that were part of this year’s ranking, San Francisco Conservatory of Music landed the # 2 spot on the list. SFCM is a fairly small private not-for-profit school located in the city of San Francisco.

Of the 66 students majoring in music at SFCM, 44% are male and 56% are female.
