To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Music program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Boston University the most popular school in the New England Region for music students working on their doctor’s degree. Boston U is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.
Of the 28 students majoring in music at Boston U, 32% are male and 68% are female.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Hartford. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Music Doctor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. UHart is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of West Hartford.
About 29% of the students majoring in music at the school are women while 71% are male.
