Our analysis found University of Chicago to be the most popular school for anthropology students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the United States. UChicago is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Chicago.

About 79% of the students majoring in anthropology at the school are women while 21% are male.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of South Florida - Main Campus. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Anthropology Doctor’s Degree Schools list. Located in the city of Tampa, USF Tampa is a public school with a very large student population.
