Our analysis found Boston University to be the most popular school for general psychology students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the New England Region . Located in the large city of Boston, Boston U is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

About 58% of the students majoring in psychology at the school are women while 42% are male.

Out of the 13 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Massachusetts Amherst landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public school with a very large student population.

About 78% of the students majoring in psychology at the school are women while 22% are male.
