To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Philosophy program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Holy Apostles College and Seminary the most popular school in the United States for philosophy students working on their master’s degree. Located in the suburb of Cromwell, Holy Apostles College and Seminary is a private not-for-profit college with a small student population.

Of the 35 students majoring in philosophy at Holy Apostles College and Seminary, 83% are male and 17% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at The Graduate Center, CUNY helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular philosophy schools in the United States. The Graduate Center is a medium-sized public school located in the city of New York.

About 48% of the students majoring in philosophy at the school are women while 52% are male.
