Our 2023 rankings named University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill the most popular school in the Southeast Region for nutrition science students working on their doctor’s degree. UNC Chapel Hill is a very large public school located in the small city of Chapel Hill.

Of the 13 students majoring in nutrition science at UNC Chapel Hill, 23% are male and 77% are female.

Out of the 11 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Georgia landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the midsize city of Athens, UGA is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 86% of the nutrition science majors at the school.
