The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular medicine schools in the New England Region . UMass Medical School is a small public school located in the midsize city of Worcester.

About 54% of the students majoring in medicine at the school are women while 46% are male.
