This report analyzed 28 schools in the New England Region to see which ones were the most popular doctor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Nursing program at each school on the list.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Massachusetts Amherst. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Nursing Doctor’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. Located in the large suburb of Amherst, UMass Amherst is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Of the 62 students majoring in nursing at UMass Amherst, 15% are male and 85% are female.

Out of the 28 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester landed the # 3 spot on the list. UMass Medical School is a small public school located in the medium-sized city of Worcester.
