To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Grad Degree Search has created its Most Popular Engineering Graduate Certificate Schools in the New England Region ranking. This report analyzed 14 schools in the New England Region to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for engineering majors pursuing a graduate certificate.

Our 2023 rankings named Worcester Polytechnic Institute the most popular school in the New England Region for engineering students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the midsize city of Worcester, WPI is a private not-for-profit college with a medium-sized student population.

About 27% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 73% are male.

Out of the 14 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Connecticut landed the # 2 spot on the list. UCONN is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Storrs.

Of the 38 students majoring in engineering at UCONN, 84% are male and 16% are female.

Out of the 14 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Massachusetts - Lowell landed the # 3 spot on the list. UMass Lowell is a fairly large public school located in the large suburb of Lowell.

Of the 27 students majoring in engineering at UMass Lowell, 70% are male and 30% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of New Hampshire - Main Campus. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Popular Engineering Graduate Certificate Schools in the New England Region list. Located in the small suburb of Durham, UNH is a public college with a large student population.

With a ranking of #7, Harvard University did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for engineering students working on their graduate certificate. Harvard is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Cambridge.
