Gainesville, FL

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Florida is a great place for ocean engineering students working on their master’s degree. UF is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville.

Women make up 44% of the OE majors at the school.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Florida Institute of Technology helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular ocean engineering schools in the Southeast Region . Florida Tech is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the city of Melbourne.

About 43% of the students majoring in OE at the school are women while 57% are male.
