To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Mechanical Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for mechanical engineering students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the United States. UF is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Gainesville.

Of the 56 students majoring in ME at UF, 88% are male and 13% are female.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at The University of Texas at Arlington helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular mechanical engineering schools in the United States. UT Arlington is a very large public school located in the large city of Arlington.

Women make up 7% of the ME majors at the school.
