Our 2023 rankings named Johns Hopkins University the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for environmental engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Johns Hopkins is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Baltimore.

About 50% of the students majoring in environmental engineering at the school are women while 50% are male.

Philadelphia, PA

Our 2023 rankings named Drexel University the most popular school in the Middle Atlantic Region for environmental engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Drexel is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Philadelphia.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry is a great place for environmental engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the city of Syracuse, ESF is a public college with a small student population.
