In 2020-2021, 1,280 people earned a degree or certificate in real estate, making the major the #123 most popular in the United States.

There are so many programs in today's world that it can tough to figure out which one is the right one for you. Also there are many trade schools that offer short-term programs that open up more career options.

To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Grad Degree Search has created its Most Popular Real Estate Master's Degree Schools ranking. This report analyzed 42 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular master's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Real Estate program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for real estate majors pursuing a master's degree.

New York, NY

Our analysis found New York University to be the most popular school for real estate students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. NYU is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of New York.

Of the 274 students majoring in real estate at NYU, 76% are male and 24% are female.

Washington, DC

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Georgetown University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Real Estate Master’s Degree Schools list. Located in the large city of Washington, Georgetown is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 25% of the real estate majors at the school.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Florida International University. It ranked #3 on our 2023 Most Popular Real Estate Master’s Degree Schools list. Located in the suburb of Miami, FIU is a public college with a very large student population.
