Northeastern University Professional Advancement Network is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.

About 64% of the students majoring in biotech at the school are women while 36% are male.

Out of the 10 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Worcester Polytechnic Institute landed the # 2 spot on the list. WPI is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Worcester.

Of the 19 students majoring in biotech at WPI, 42% are male and 58% are female.

Boston, MA

Out of the 10 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Boston University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the city of Boston, Boston U is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

Women make up 71% of the biotech majors at the school.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Framingham State University helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular biotechnology schools in the New England Region .
