Western New Mexico University is located in Silver City, New Mexico and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 115 graduate certificates to qualified students.
Around 81% of those degree recipients were women.
If you are interested in distance education, be sure to check with the school since Western New Mexico University does offer online graduate classes for certain majors. In 2019-2020 about 95% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
You’ll be in good company if you attend New Mexico State University - Main Campus. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Graduate Certificate Schools in New Mexico list. This fairly large public school is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and it awarded 69 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.
Around 70% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at NMSU Main Campus. In 2019-2020 about 50% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.

You’ll be in good company if you attend University of New Mexico - Main Campus. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Most Popular Graduate Certificate Schools in New Mexico list. UNM is a large public school situated in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It awarded 62 graduate certificates in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 65% were women.
Online graduate courses are available at UNM, but you will need to check with the school to see if they are available for your field of interest. In 2019-2020 about 38% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
A rank of #4 on this year’s list means New Mexico Highlands University is a great place for students working on their graduate certificate. Las Vegas, New Mexico is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out graduate certificates to 49 students in 2020-2021.

Depending on your major, you may be able to take online graduate classes at New Mexico Highlands University. In fact, around 99% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
A rank of #5 on this year’s list means Eastern New Mexico University - Main Campus is a great place for students working on their graduate certificate. ENMU - Main Campus is located in Portales, New Mexico and has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 20 graduate certificates to qualified students.
Of those students who received their degree, 80% were women.

New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for students to get a graduate certificate. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in Socorro, New Mexico, the small public school handed out 6 graduate certificate awards in 2020-2021.
Around 83% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online graduate classes at New Mexico Tech. In 2019-2020 about 78% of the graduate students at the school chose to take one or more online courses.
With a ranking of #8, Northern New Mexico College did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for students working on their graduate certificate.
