Our 2023 rankings named Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center the most popular school in Texas for students working on their doctor’s degree. TTUHSC is a medium-sized public school situated in Lubbock, Texas. It awarded 479 doctor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Of those students who received their degree, 62% were women.
Around 61% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Texas A&M University - College Station is a great place for students working on their doctor’s degree. Texas A&M College Station is located in College Station, Texas and has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 1,460 doctor’s degrees to qualified students.
Of those students who received their degree, 49% were women.
Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 23% took at least some of their classes online.
Out of the 21 schools in Texas that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Texas at Arlington landed the # 3 spot on the list. This large public school is located in Arlington, Texas, and it awarded 276 doctor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
