Our 2023 rankings named Emerson College the most popular school in the New England Region for drama and theater arts students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Boston, Emerson is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.

About 56% of the students majoring in theater at the school are women while 44% are male.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Boston University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Drama & Theater Arts Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. Boston U is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.
