This report analyzed 56 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Dance program at each school on the list.

Top 10 Most Popular Dance Schools
Our 2023 rankings named New York University the most popular school in the United States for dance students. Located in the city of New York, NYU is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Hollins University. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Most Popular Dance Schools list. Hollins is a small private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Roanoke.
A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Texas Woman’s University is a great place for dance students. TWU is a large public school located in the medium-sized city of Denton.

Jacksonville University ranked #6 on this year’s Most Popular Dance Schools list. JU is a small private not-for-profit school located in the city of Jacksonville.
University of California - Irvine came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Dance Schools ranking. Located in the city of Irvine, UC Irvine is a public school with a very large student population.
With a ranking of #6, University of Utah did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for dance students. U of U is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Salt Lake City.
