Our 2023 rankings named University of Missouri - Columbia the most popular school in the Plains States Region for economics students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Columbia, Mizzou is a public school with a very large student population.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at University of Kansas helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular economics schools in the Plains States Region . KU is a very large public school located in the small city of Lawrence.
