Our 2023 rankings named Yale University the most popular school in the New England Region for physics students working on their master’s degree. Yale is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of New Haven.

Of the 32 students majoring in physics at Yale, 72% are male and 28% are female.

Out of the 23 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Brown University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the midsize city of Providence, Brown is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
