Out of the 38 schools in the Great Lakes Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Michigan - Ann Arbor landed the # 2 spot on the list. U-M is a very large public school located in the city of Ann Arbor.

Of the 27 students majoring in physics at U-M, 63% are male and 37% are female.
