Women make up 42% of the chemistry majors at the school.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at Cornell University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular chemistry schools in the Middle Atlantic Region . Cornell is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Ithaca.

About 43% of the students majoring in chemistry at the school are women while 57% are male.
