The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of California - San Diego helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular chemistry schools in California. Located in the large city of La Jolla, UCSD is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 49 students majoring in chemistry at UCSD, 63% are male and 37% are female.
