Our analysis found University of Georgia to be the most popular school for forestry students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Southeast Region . UGA is a very large public school located in the medium-sized city of Athens.

Of the 17 students majoring in forestry at UGA, 53% are male and 47% are female.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means North Carolina State University is a great place for forestry students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the large city of Raleigh, NC State is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 11 students majoring in forestry at NC State, 45% are male and 55% are female.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Florida helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular forestry schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF is a public school with a very large student population.

About 38% of the students majoring in forestry at the school are women while 63% are male.

Located in the medium-sized city of Baton Rouge, Southern University and A & M College is a public college with a moderately-sized student population.
