To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Statistics program at each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named North Carolina State University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for statistics students working on their doctor’s degree. NC State is a very large public school located in the city of Raleigh.

Tallahassee, FL

Out of the 14 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Florida State University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the medium-sized city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 17 students majoring in stats at Florida State, 88% are male and 12% are female.
