Of the 127 students majoring in applied math at UT Dallas, 66% are male and 34% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Southern Methodist University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Applied Mathematics Master’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region list. Located in the suburb of Dallas, SMU is a private not-for-profit school with a large student population.

Women make up 18% of the applied math majors at the school.

Tucson, AZ

With a ranking of #6, University of Arizona did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for applied mathematics students working on their master’s degree. University of Arizona is a fairly large public school located in the city of Tucson.

Of the 39 students majoring in applied math at University of Arizona, 69% are male and 31% are female.

University of St. Thomas did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for applied mathematics students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the large city of Houston, UST is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.
