To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Library Science program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found San Jose State University to be the most popular school for library science students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. San Jose State is a very large public school located in the city of San Jose.
Of the 631 students majoring in library science at San Jose State, 18% are male and 82% are female.
The in-demand master’s degree programs at University of North Texas helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular library science schools in the United States. Located in the medium-sized city of Denton, UNT is a public college with a fairly large student population.
Of the 252 students majoring in library science at UNT, 19% are male and 81% are female.
