Our analysis found American Public University System to be the most popular school for homeland security, law enforcement and firefighting students who want to pursue an online graduate certificate in the Southeast Region . American Military University is a very large private for-profit school located in the fringe town of Charles Town.

About 28% of the students majoring in homeland security, law enforcement and firefighting at the school are women while 72% are male.

Out of the 18 online programs at schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Liberty University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Liberty University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Lynchburg.

Women make up 34% of the homeland security, law enforcement and firefighting majors at the school.

Blacksburg, VA
