Our 2023 rankings named American Public University System the most popular school in the Southeast Region for history students working on their master’s degree. Located in the fringe town of Charles Town, American Military University is a private for-profit college with a very large student population.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Liberty University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular history schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the city of Lynchburg, Liberty University is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 148 students majoring in history at Liberty University, 53% are male and 47% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at George Mason University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular history schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the suburb of Fairfax, GMU is a public school with a very large student population.

Located in the medium-sized city of Wilmington, UNCW is a public college with a fairly large student population.
