Top 10 Best Public Health Schools
Our 2023 rankings named Harvard University the best school in the New England Region for public health students. Located in the medium-sized city of Cambridge, Harvard is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
Out of the 35 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Dartmouth College landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the town of Hanover, Dartmouth is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.
A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Brown University is a great place for public health students. Brown is a large private not-for-profit school located in the midsize city of Providence.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Yale University. The school came in at #4 on this year’s Best Public Health Schools in the New England Region list. Located in the midsize city of New Haven, Yale is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Tufts University. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Best Public Health Schools in the New England Region list. Tufts is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of Medford.
New England Institute of Technology did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best schools for public health students. It came in at #6 on the list. New England Tech is a small private not-for-profit school located in the large suburb of East Greenwich.

Boston University landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best public health programs. Located in the city of Boston, Boston U is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.
With a ranking of #8, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences did quite well on this year’s best schools for public health students. MCPHS University is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Boston.

University of Saint Joseph ranked #9 on this year’s Best Public Health Schools in the New England Region list. USJ is a small private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of West Hartford.
Quinnipiac University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best schools for public health students. It came in at #10 on the list. Quinnipiac is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Hamden.
