Top 10 Best Public Health Master's Degree Schools
Our 2023 rankings named Harvard University the best school in the New England Region for public health students working on their master’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Cambridge, Harvard is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.
Out of the 32 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Dartmouth College landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the town of Hanover, Dartmouth is a private not-for-profit college with a medium-sized student population.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Brown University. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Best Public Health Master’s Degree Schools in the New England Region list. Brown is a large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Providence.
Out of the 32 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Yale University landed the # 4 spot on the list. Located in the city of New Haven, Yale is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly large student population.

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences landed the #8 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best master’s degree public health programs. MCPHS University is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Boston.

With a ranking of #9, Simmons University did quite well on this year’s best schools for public health students working on their master’s degree. Simmons is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.
With a ranking of #10, Sacred Heart University did quite well on this year’s best schools for public health students working on their master’s degree. Located in the large suburb of Fairfield, Sacred Heart is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.
