University of Nebraska Medical Center landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular doctor’s degree medicine programs. Located in the large city of Omaha, UNMC is a public school with a small student population.
Of the 123 students majoring in medicine at UNMC, 59% are male and 41% are female.

Washington University in St Louis came in at #8 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Medicine Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Plains States Region ranking. WUSTL is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Saint Louis.

With a ranking of #9, University of Missouri - Kansas City did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for medicine students working on their doctor’s degree. UMKC is a fairly large public school located in the large city of Kansas City.
