Out of the 10 schools in Texas that were part of this year’s ranking, The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the large city of Houston, UTHealth is a public college with a moderately-sized student population.

About 53% of the students majoring in medicine at the school are women while 47% are male.

Out of the 10 schools in Texas that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center landed the # 4 spot on the list. UT Southwestern is a small public school located in the large city of Dallas.
