Our 2023 rankings named Nova Southeastern University the most popular school in the Southeast Region for dentistry students. Located in the large suburb of Fort Lauderdale, NUS Florida is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Louisville is a great place for dentistry students. Located in the large city of Louisville, UofL is a public school with a very large student population.
The excellent programs at Virginia Commonwealth University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best dentistry schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the midsize city of Richmond, VCU is a public college with a very large student population.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Augusta University. It ranked #4 on our 2023 Most Popular Dentistry Schools in the Southeast Region list. Augusta University is a moderately-sized public school located in the city of Augusta.

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular schools for dentistry students. It came in at #7 on the list. UNC Chapel Hill is a fairly large public school located in the small city of Chapel Hill.
University of Alabama at Birmingham did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular schools for dentistry students. It came in at #8 on the list. Located in the midsize city of Birmingham, UAB is a public college with a very large student population.
Medical University of South Carolina landed the #9 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular dentistry programs. Located in the midsize city of Charleston, MUSC is a public school with a small student population.
