This report analyzed 65 schools in the United States to see which ones were the most popular doctor's degree programs for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Dentistry program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found New York University to be the most popular school for dentistry students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the United States. NYU is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of New York.

About 55% of the students majoring in dentistry at the school are women while 45% are male.

Medford, MA

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Tufts University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Dentistry Doctor’s Degree Schools list. Located in the suburb of Medford, Tufts is a private not-for-profit college with a large student population.

Of the 243 students majoring in dentistry at Tufts, 47% are male and 53% are female.

Boston, MA

Out of the 65 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Boston University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Boston U is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Boston.

Of the 196 students majoring in dentistry at Boston U, 41% are male and 59% are female.

A rank of #4 on this year’s list means University of Southern California is a great place for dentistry students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the city of Los Angeles, USC is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
