Our 2023 rankings named University of Arizona the most popular school in the Southwest Region for foreign languages and linguistics students working on their master’s degree. Located in the large city of Tucson, University of Arizona is a public college with a very large student population.

Of the 40 students majoring in foreign languages and linguistics at University of Arizona, 45% are male and 55% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at St. John’s College helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular foreign languages and linguistics schools in the Southwest Region . Located in the rural area of Santa Fe, St. John's is a private not-for-profit college with a fairly small student population.

About 47% of the students majoring in foreign languages and linguistics at the school are women while 53% are male.
