To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Area Studies program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary to be the most popular school for area studies students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the United States. Out of the 46 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Harvard University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Harvard is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Cambridge.
