Our analysis found Southern New Hampshire University to be the most popular school for general English literature students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the New England Region . Located in the medium-sized suburb of Manchester, SNHU is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

About 74% of the students majoring in English at the school are women while 26% are male.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Harvard University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular general English literature schools in the New England Region . Harvard is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the midsize city of Cambridge.

Of the 30 students majoring in English at Harvard, 33% are male and 67% are female.

Out of the 29 schools in the New England Region that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Massachusetts - Boston landed the # 3 spot on the list. UMass Boston is a large public school located in the large city of Boston.
