Our 2023 rankings named Carnegie Mellon University the most popular school in the United States for robotics engineering students working on their master’s degree. Located in the city of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 102 students majoring in robotics engineering at Carnegie Mellon, 81% are male and 19% are female.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Worcester Polytechnic Institute is a great place for robotics engineering students working on their master’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Worcester, WPI is a private not-for-profit college with a moderately-sized student population.

Women make up 12% of the robotics engineering majors at the school.

Out of the 20 schools in the United States that were part of this year’s ranking, Arizona State University - Tempe landed the # 3 spot on the list. ASU - Tempe is a very large public school located in the city of Tempe.
