You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Colorado School of Mines. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Rocky Mountains Region list. Located in the suburb of Golden, Mines is a public school with a medium-sized student population.

Of the 249 students majoring in engineering at Mines, 70% are male and 30% are female.

Of the 76 students majoring in engineering at U of I, 84% are male and 16% are female.

University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for engineering students to get a master’s degree. It came in at #7 on the list. CU Anschutz is a very large public school located in the large city of Denver.

With a ranking of #8, Brigham Young University - Provo did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for engineering students working on their master’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Provo, BYU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
