Our analysis looked at 34 schools in the Southeast Region to see which graduate certificate programs were the most popular for students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the Southeast Region . UF is a very large public school located in the midsize city of Gainesville.

Women make up 25% of the engineering majors at the school.

Auburn, AL

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Auburn University is a great place for engineering students working on their graduate certificate. Located in the small city of Auburn, Auburn is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Of the 90 students majoring in engineering at Auburn, 77% are male and 23% are female.

Durham, NC

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Duke University is a great place for engineering students working on their graduate certificate. Duke is a large private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Durham.

About 43% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 57% are male.

Out of the 34 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Louisiana Tech University landed the # 4 spot on the list. Louisiana Tech is a large public school located in the distant town of Ruston.

About 32% of the students majoring in engineering at the school are women while 68% are male.

The in-demand graduate certificate programs at University of Central Florida helped the school earn the #5 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering schools in the Southeast Region . Located in the large suburb of Orlando, UCF is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 19 students majoring in engineering at UCF, 58% are male and 42% are female.

Kennesaw State University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for engineering students to get a graduate certificate. It came in at #6 on the list. KSU Georgia is a very large public school located in the large suburb of Kennesaw.

Clemson University ranked #7 on this year’s Most Popular Engineering Graduate Certificate Schools in the Southeast Region list. Clemson is a very large public school located in the suburb of Clemson.
