Our analysis found University of Florida to be the most popular school for engineering students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in Florida. UF is a very large public school located in the city of Gainesville.

Of the 163 students majoring in engineering at UF, 76% are male and 24% are female.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Central Florida. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Popular Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in Florida list. Located in the large suburb of Orlando, UCF is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 34% of the engineering majors at the school.

Florida Institute of Technology did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for engineering students to get a doctor’s degree. It came in at #6 on the list. Florida Tech is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the city of Melbourne.

Florida State University came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Engineering Doctor’s Degree Schools in Florida ranking. Located in the medium-sized city of Tallahassee, Florida State is a public school with a fairly large student population.
