Of the 262 students majoring in engineering at Stanford, 71% are male and 29% are female.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of California - Berkeley helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular engineering schools in California. Located in the medium-sized city of Berkeley, UC Berkeley is a public school with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 28% of the engineering majors at the school.

Of the 95 students majoring in engineering at UC Irvine, 68% are male and 32% are female.
