To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Other Engineering program at each school on the list.

Our analysis found Northeastern University to be the most popular school for other engineering students who want to pursue a master’s degree in the United States. Located in the large city of Boston, Northeastern is a private not-for-profit school with a very large student population.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Southern California is a great place for other engineering students working on their master’s degree. Located in the large city of Los Angeles, USC is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.

Norfolk, VA

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Old Dominion University is a great place for other engineering students working on their master’s degree. Located in the midsize city of Norfolk, Old Dominion is a public school with a very large student population.

Of the 114 students majoring in other engineering at Old Dominion, 86% are male and 14% are female.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Clemson University helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular other engineering schools in the United States. Clemson is a very large public school located in the suburb of Clemson.

Of the 108 students majoring in other engineering at Clemson, 89% are male and 11% are female.

A rank of #5 on this year’s list means Northwestern University is a great place for other engineering students working on their master’s degree. Northwestern is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Evanston.

With a ranking of #6, University of Michigan - Dearborn did quite well on this year’s most popular schools for other engineering students working on their master’s degree. UM Dearborn is a moderately-sized public school located in the midsize city of Dearborn.
