The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at Northeastern University helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular electrical engineering schools in the New England Region . Northeastern is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in the city of Boston.

Of the 34 students majoring in EE at Northeastern, 85% are male and 15% are female.

A rank of #3 on this year’s list means University of Connecticut is a great place for electrical engineering students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in the suburb of Storrs, UCONN is a public college with a very large student population.
