Top 10 Best Education Schools
Our 2023 rankings named Trinity University the best school in the Southwest Region for education students. Located in the city of San Antonio, Trinity U is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.
Out of the 61 schools in the Southwest Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas A&M University - College Station landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the city of College Station, Texas A&M College Station is a public college with a very large student population.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend Texas Christian University. The school came in at #3 on this year’s Best Education Schools in the Southwest Region list. Located in the city of Fort Worth, TCU is a private not-for-profit school with a fairly large student population.
The excellent programs at The University of Texas at Austin helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the best education schools in the Southwest Region . UT Austin is a fairly large public school located in the city of Austin.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Best Education Schools in the Southwest Region list. UT Rio Grande Valley is a fairly large public school located in the medium-sized city of Edinburg.

University of St. Thomas ranked #6 on this year’s Best Education Schools in the Southwest Region list. UST is a small private not-for-profit school located in the city of Houston.
Austin College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the best schools for education students. It came in at #7 on the list. Located in the city of Sherman, Austin College is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population.
Baylor University ranked #8 on this year’s Best Education Schools in the Southwest Region list. Baylor is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the medium-sized city of Waco.
Arizona State University - Skysong ranked #9 on this year’s Best Education Schools in the Southwest Region list. ASU - Skysong is a very large public school located in the city of Scottsdale.
Texas Tech University landed the #10 spot in the 2023 rankings for the best education programs. Texas Tech is a fairly large public school located in the city of Lubbock.
