Out of the 19 schools in Virginia that were part of this year’s ranking, Virginia Tech landed the # 2 spot on the list. Virginia Tech is a very large public school located in the small city of Blacksburg.
A rank of #3 on this year’s list means George Mason University is a great place for education students. GMU is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Fairfax.
A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Eastern Mennonite University is a great place for education students. Eastern Mennonite is a small private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Harrisonburg.

With a ranking of #10, University of Mary Washington did quite well on this year’s best schools for education students. UMW is a small public school located in the midsize suburb of Fredericksburg.
