Our 2023 rankings named University of Florida the best school in Florida for education students. Located in the midsize city of Gainesville, UF is a public school with a fairly large student population.
Out of the 22 schools in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, Florida State University landed the # 2 spot on the list. Florida State is a fairly large public school located in the city of Tallahassee.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend University of Central Florida. The school came in at #4 on this year’s Best Education Schools in Florida list. UCF is a fairly large public school located in the suburb of Orlando.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend St. Thomas University. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Best Education Schools in Florida list. STU is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Miami Gardens.
